Buses between cells
Bus — One Master Pitch Sequence
One Master cell sends its pitch sequence and rhythm score-wide; three Variation cells receive them and play the theme up a fifth, inverted and in retrograde. Edit the master and all three follow.
How it is built
Bus — One Master Pitch Sequence. One cell drives three: the Master cell sends its pitch sequence and its rhythm on two buses with scope "Whole score", and each Variation cell receives both, transforms the pitches (up a fifth, inverted, retrograde) and renders a voice of its own.
The Master cell is an ordinary cell: pitch.static → bus.send "pitches", rhythm.repeat → bus.send "groove", and the same two sources wired into an om.voice so the theme is heard as well as sent. The only difference from a cell-local bus is the Send node's Scope, switched to "Whole score".
Each Variation cell starts from two bus.receive nodes — "pitches" and "groove", picked from the channel dropdown that lists what other cells publish — runs the pitches through om.transpose, om.invert or om.retrograde, and wires the result and the received rhythm into an om.voice. Edit a note in Master and all three variations follow.
